Luke Armstrong is a British director, producer & writer based in London, with a background in visual effects.

A passionate and technically experienced film maker and story teller, Luke made his first film at the age of fourteen,. Since then, his films have won awards on the festival circuit around the world. 

His sci-fi feature debut 'Solitary' was shot in twelve days and gained worldwide distribution on VOD, disc and a limited theatrical run in 2020. He completed post-production all by himself during lockdown. The screenplay has since been incorporated into the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences Core Collection at the Margaret Herrick Library.

His decade of 60+ VFX credits include iconic scenes from high profile movies and television, including 007 Skyfall, Spectre, Fantastic Beasts, seven Marvel movies and the Oscar winning Jungle Book amongst many others.
